We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When data is no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymize it.
We set retention periods using the following criteria: how long an active discussion or engagement with you continues; whether the data is needed to meet a contractual, tax, accounting, or other legal obligation; whether it is needed to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim; and whether you have asked us to keep it, for example a subscription preference. If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Florida, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky, or Rhode Island, your state gives you privacy rights in addition to those described above. Global Privacy Control. This website recognizes the Global Privacy Control browser signal. Where your browser sends it, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and marketing cookies stay off for that browser.
09. Automated Decision-Making and Artificial Intelligence
We do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing, and we do not use your personal data for automated profiling of that kind.
We use artificial intelligence tools in the ordinary running of our business, for example to help draft and route communications and to analyze aggregated website usage. Where a tool of this kind processes personal data, the provider acts as our sub-processor under a written agreement, is permitted to use the data only to provide the service to us, and is contractually prohibited from using it to train its own models. Section 05 explains how to obtain the current sub-processor list.
Personal data you provide to us is not used to train artificial intelligence models, whether our own or a third party's. Where we build or operate AI systems for a client, that work is governed by our contract with that client rather than by this policy, and we act as a processor on their instructions.
10. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your browsing experience, analyze website traffic, and personalize content. For detailed information about our use of cookies, please see our Cookie Policy.
11. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority without undue delay and, where feasible, within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, as required by GDPR Article 33. Where the breach is likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you directly without undue delay. Where other laws set their own notification duties or deadlines, we meet those as well.
12. International Data Transfers
We operate globally. Your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States and India, where data protection laws differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Where we transfer personal data out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, and for United Kingdom transfers on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. We combine these with supplementary technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and at rest and access controls limited to personnel who need the data to do their work.
Allshore Technologies, LLC and Allshore Technologies Pvt. Ltd. are separate legal entities. Personal data passing between them, for example when engineering staff in Hyderabad work on a project, is an intra-group transfer governed by a written agreement between the two companies that carries the same clauses and safeguards described above. Neither entity may use the data for any purpose beyond the one it was transferred for.
You can request a copy of the safeguards we apply to a particular transfer by writing to legal@allshore.io.
